Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am asking the group as my spiritual friends for support. I do not want this to turn into a debate about drugs at all, i am just looking for motivation to stop using one particular drug. Marijuana has been a big part of my life for 2 years now and i have smoked a reasonable amount in that time. my concentration, motivation, emotions, memory and spiritual development are being held back by its extensive use. I know the benefits of yoga but pot is really messing me up with it. I really want to be 100% focused on my practice but always get led down the wrong choice. I just want some motivation and words of wisdom from the group to help my addiction. Thank you all. Light and love, -David _______________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
Guest guest
You have to motivate your self to stop this marijuana adiction. We can give you some advices but at the end you and only you have to do it. you know that drugs will get from you the two most precious things in live: freedom and health. You must stop it 100% at front, with determination, no try ever, any more. All of us will be with you. You must be selfish, love your self like all of us... I use to have some adictions and this advices helpme out a lot Best regards sat nam Luis Martin from spain ----------------- Ya tenemos Lotería de NAVIDAD, descúbrelo aquí: http://loteria.ozu.es ----------------- Correo enviado desde http://www.ozu.es
Guest guest
Sat Nam David- There are some kriyas to remove addictions. I believe several were posted on the board a few months. You can search the archives for 'addictions'. I would think that another thing you could work on, besides something specific for addictions, would by the naval center. It seems to me that what you are describing may or may not be an addiction. You also mention being "led down the wrong path". If you do some kriyas, like nabhi kriya, that focus on the naval center, that should strengthen your will. With a strong will, you will do what you know is best for you and not be led astray so easily. That's just my thought, but certainly see what Dharam, GRK and others say first. Guest guest
Hi David, I'm going through the same thing with the same drug right now. I was looking through Sadhana Guidelines last night to find a meditation to help with it and I came across one on page 162, it was called something medical meditation, I think. I plan on starting it the next new moon. If you don't have Sadhana Guidelines I'd be happy to send the instructions to you.
