Guest guest
Hi David, We all want bliss, happiness, satisfaction. We want fulfillment. Have you seen a newborn baby and seen that thing they do with their mouth? It's called "cooing". They move their mouth and lips in anticipation of breast milk. It's not something they have to think about as it is deep in their "hardwiring". When they get that breast milk, they are in the bliss and fall off to the most beautiful sleep. Their cooing (faith) was responded to and there was satisfaction (fulfillment). Now, believe it or not you and I used to be babies with umbilical cords and cooing/sucking reflexes. This is deep in our psyche and cannot be ignored. In yoga and in our chanting we reconnect with our navel point, which where we got all of our sustenance for the the first 9 months of our existence. We do this for too many reasons to note here (it is best to do your own exploration). This is your foundation for without nothing else you do will have much lasting effect. A "yoga" experience is not complete without chanting. We have a chance (chants) to re-awaken our heart and our right to "want" with the movements of our mouth. Repeat the Naam. Get into the mouth movement and expect the sweetness of fulfillment. Stimulate all those meridians that lead to happiness when we were tiny. If you were a Carnation baby, then this a good time to bring in the Great Mother. It's all in our wiring and chemistry. (You ever wonder why kissing is so much fun?) Replace that ______ addiction with this technology and you'll get a real high. Dharam David Weaver wrote: > > Hello everyone, > > I am asking the group as my spiritual friends for support.
