Guest guest
Dear David, I had been using and abusing alcohol and marijuana for some 20 years when I first encountered Kundalini Yoga. I honestly believe I wouldn't be alive today if I hadn't been - by the grace of God - led to KY. I ended up living near an ashram for 3 months, and over those 3 months, doing yoga twice a day and going to Sadna (sp?) every day at 4:30 am. So I ended both addictions. I tell you this to say, first, it is good that after 2 years you decided to stop. (good your Self is smarter than mine was!). Second, I think you are definitely on the right path in doing KY. Everyone may find their own way to solve their addiction, but KY has a very good track record in this regard. Third, I don't know if you have the opportunity, but if you have access to an ashram, I would seek support there too. But if you don't, you will receive good support from this list. As far as which particular sets you should do, I'm sure that others on here can answer that. Good luck and please let us know how it goes.
