Guest guest
Sat nam friends! I am writing an article hopefully for publication in an upcoming issue of AT, and I'm trying to gather some testimonials on how practitioners quit smoking, or drinking, or any other behavior that they deemed as "addictive." I have my own advice for smokers, as I was one: BF for 3-6 minutes every time you absolutely think you have to have one. Any testimonials would be treated in confidence, of course. The main idea I'm trying to stress with this article is that KY can really help you kick a bad habit. Guest guest
Namaste Siri Deva Singh In reply to your request, I would be honered to share my experience with you - No confidientiality needed: I had asked God to bring me home because I knew that I was not meant for this world. She then replied: Close your eyes, open your heart and know that you are there. That was the day that I had stopped drinking - forever. In August 2000 I had decided to come up with a way to stay sober, as well as to help others on the same journey. It had to be something different from the traditional means available because that was not a direction, which had proven beneficial to me. After a little research, I had come up with the idea to learn and teach Kundalini yoga. My current corporate technical career had taught me that the best way to learn something is to teach it. Also, I knew that if I were to devote my life to helping others with their harmful addictions that this would strengthen my ability to avoid ever falling back into my harmful addictions. In January 2002 I was certified and teaching part time. Kundalini yoga has been my primary ingredient used in staying sober successfully.
