Sit in easy pose, or in a chair with your feet flat on the floor (straight spine is key) 2. Eyes either 1/10 open at the tip of your nose or closed rolled up to the third eye (they both effect third eye) 3. With your right thumb, block off your right nostril, and inhale deeply & slowly (the rest of your fingers on the right hand pointed up to ceiling) 4. Rythymically pump your navel and silently chant wa-he guru pump on 'wa', on 'he' and on 'gu'– 3 pumps then release on 'ru' 5. On one breath you'll pump 48 times, or 16 wahe guru's one way to keep track of the pumps is to start with the index finger and flex it up and down 4 times with your navel, then the middle finger and so on. 6. When you've reached 48 or 16 complete chants, block the left nostril with the right index finger and exhale slowly, then go back to step 3 and repeat.
