Guest guest
Sat Nam dear yogis, Thanks for your replies! I did try it yesterday for a second time, with hot water (2 litres) and adding some salt and still no succes, although the experience has been quite interesting. After trying I was feeling very bloated again and decided to tune-in. The though "stop abusing your body" just popped into my mind! I realized my attitude was all wrong, kinda like "OK trooper, drink this and throw it out". Using my body instead relating to it respectfully. It´s definitly been a quantum leap in how I relate to my personal health, emotional energy, reamaning in the here&now trough body awareness, etc. DHARAM - funny you should mention Lowen as I´m currently reading one of his books ("Depression and the body") which is really really interesting and has so many ideas I´ve learned through kundalini yoga. Also massaging the solar plexus area was very nice, besides the pumping. Anyway, seems like a rather interesting technique on the way to wholeness I´ll keep trying until I achieve it and let you know if there are any developments. Guest guest
Hey Henno, Pretty wild that you are reading Lowen [insert theme song from Twilight Zone]. Wilhelm Reich is some "deep" reading, also. He is definately "in the zone". His words resonated like no other with what I was experiencing during early Kundalini days. It was Lowen's approach that I stumbled onto, that allowed me to fully experience the Kundalini in all its nuances within my body, and I repeat, within my Body. Guru Nanak wrote that "all the 68 pilgrimage places are within the body". I can verify that we don't need to go anywhere to get wat we want or need. That Doing can be the same as Being. On Elephant Kriya, when you stick your fingers in to evoke the gag reflex, do it gently and nuture the reflex with the subtlety of the breath. Breath softly into the diaphragm and stomach and let your body "go" with the slightest reflex. You have to encourage it. If I were in Amsterdam with I'd get it out for you! Keep on keepin' on, Dharam "Henno van Arkel" <hennovanarkel > Sat Nam dear yogis, > > Thanks for your replies! > > I did try it yesterday for a second time, with hot water (2 litres) and > adding some salt and still no succes, although the experience has been quite > interesting. > > After trying I was feeling very bloated again and decided to tune-in. Guest guest
Dear Gurushabd, Why don't you just eat good food and then you don't have to do this? > though "stop abusing your body" just popped into my Sounds accurate to me. Guest guest
Sat Nam Gururattan > Why don't you just eat good food and then you don't have to do this? Sound like a smart idea It´s more that it seems a good thing to do regardless of your diet. I just felt a strong urge to try. Also I think it has to do with psychosomatics or the symbolism of it... throwing stuff out. I´ll see how it develops. > > though "stop abusing your body" just popped into my > > Sounds accurate to me.
