Guest guest
Sat Nam Soniya, you have to get some rest! although I believe in breastfeeding (2 kids myself, nursed them both), it is more important that you get some sleep right now. Please consider giving the baby some formula (check with your DR. for recommendations). Your husband could then take him for some feedings so you can get some sleep, and let your body recover. I had a c-section myself, and I know how you feel. If you want to, you can e-mail me privately, even if you just need to blow off some steam! Best Wishes, > Satnam, > > i feel very bad as i am getting frustrated and angry on my 18 days > old infant and feel very guilty...please guide me.................. > > soniya
Guest guest
Dear Soniya, > i feel very bad as i am getting frustrated and angry on my 18 days > old infant and feel very guilty...please guide me.............. You need someone to help you. You are tired and need support too. Yogi Bhajan taught us that a woman needs a helper for the first 40 days. Is there anyone who could help you? Also remember babies cry to release. It is ok. Just be with him and let him do his thing. Congratulations on this momenteous occasion. Put on a tape and let it chant for both of you. Keep it going on autoreverse. It will be very soothing. Many blessings, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Are you nursing? If you are the best way to rest is to sleep with your baby. Recently there has been a lot of negative press on this but in reality people have been sleeping with infants forever. All of the documented cases of infant deaths resulted from drugged or drunk people or extremely obese significant others. And these death pale in comparision to the number tof SIDS deaths reported from babies in cribs each year. Many mothers who have slept with their babies may infact have prevented a SICS death by being right there. I slept with all three of my children and doen't think I could have survied otherwise Nameste, Cheryl
Guest guest
I too breast fed my four children, lucky them! I did just that, let them sleep next to me while I was nursing. It must be much harder to go through a C-section, you need lots of help, husband, grandparents, friends to relieve your stress and give you time to rest and relax. Get the help you need, it's ok to ask for help. Deanna from West Island ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Try a new path! Join www.WorkingAssets.com and change the world! Dearest Soniya, you got so wonderful and helpful answers, I can't add something new, but I sent you and your little baby a lot of good thoughts. I hope you can use some of the given ideas. I specially like the answers from S.I.R. Khalsa, each time, when there are questions about children. She's writing so heartful and I think she knows a lot about motherhood and children. I hope you will find some people to help you, so that you can rest and sleep enough. Don't feel guilty anymore! Just give your best, every new day. You are the worldbest mother for your little boy.
