Guest guest
Sat Nam ya'll, Sioux B. sent me some FABULOUS information (by the way - thanks) on the symbol and sound OM. My problem is that I am largely deaf and therefore it is difficult to discriminate between the sounds AUM, OM, and OHM. Is there really a difference? The liturature I got seems to suggest not, but I want to get it right. Unfortunately, I can only hope to do this by the feel of the vibration in my head. Everything sounds and feels like OM witha long O to me. Is there a distinction and if so does anyone have an idea of which other words may contain the same sounds so that I can find the right vibe in my head? BTW - SiouxB. recommended the site www.elcollie.com for signs and symptoms of Kundalini awakening and it is VERY informative. And - oh yeah, I got the symptoms. For awhile I'll hold onto the thought that they don't lock you up for feeling/being crazy, they lock you up for acting crazy. At least I CAN hear a different drummer.
