Guest guest
Hello Gilberto, Immune system being "too" active is akin to having "uber" reactivity to all kinds of things, real or imagined. Now, imagine there is this anger/irritation reaction that doesn't actually get resolved because it never comes out directly (aka stress). It goes inward and comes out some other way. Many of us have at least a little of this. We say YES when we mean NO and so forth. Auto-immune disorders, I believe, arise in this situation. There is this Kriya for Inner Anger that may work very well for you. You have to first accept or identify that inner anger is there. Acceptance is a good beginning for any kind of deep work. Also, that you are having psoriasis points to something Yogi has said regarding Inner Anger, and this is quoted from the introductory description of the Kriya "Inner anger is the basis of inferiority and superiority complexes, manipulation and lying, ALL SKIN DISEASES, misbe-havior, wrong calculation, destruction of business success, and destruction of rela-tionships. Inner anger blocks you from having a relationship with yourself. This set works on the body system to release us from our inner anger" Does this sound like someone remotely familiar?? I did this Kriya for 96 straight days many years ago. I felt sweet and clear and I wont say anymore or else you may try to mimic my experience. One thing is you'll want to use a lot of padding. Do a nice layout afterward and chant something for 11 minutes. Ra Ma Da Sa, Sa Say Sohung or Kirtan Kriya. Whatever you do, be present. This Kriya is in a couple of books. Shakta Kaur's book has it. You should also look into Elephant Kriya. There have been a number of posts on this Kriya in the last week or so. It will take 40 days to break a habit, so go for it....start today. Remember, the day after tomorrow is the third day of the rest of your life. Sat Nam, Dharam P.S. This isn't the only way to resolve inner anger but I think if you do it deeply and consciously and "cool down" afterward you'll be amazed. Do Sitali Breath a lot. Search archives for recent posts on it. Your Pitta also probably a little high. Gilberto Cintron wrote: > Sat Nam All, > > I'm looking for a kriya to make my immune system "less active". In Gururattan's books there are several sets to strengthen the i.s. but I think those will produce the opposite effect I'm looking for (or maybe not?). I have a skin problem on my face (light psoriasis), since several months, that get worse when I do my morning yoga. I've been on a natural treatment for several months with no positive results and the naturopath says that's a stress related problem. Please, advice. > > Gilberto >
Guest guest
Hi Dharam, I'm interested in trying the kriya for inner anger. Which one of the books of Skakta Kaur's would be the one containing this kriya? Also, in one of your e-mails, you mentioned that a lot of men have a tendency to stuff their emotions inside. I am a female and I do the same thing. However, I have done this for about 4 years now. I learned how to control and not show my emotions. I held all of this in my face and jaw area and it is still there. It feels like I have this huge blockage in my face and it stuck there. Will the anger kriya in this book help or do you have any suggestions? Thank you . Sincerely, Gina Rossi
Guest guest
Satnam everyone, Good to be back!Been busy with november birthdays and Halloween celebs in my family. To much scorpios in my family! I have noticed that the people in my family that have skin problems have passive agressive anger problems and that they usually explode now and again.Sounds like a skin problem..Diet is so important and lots of breath of fire to cleanse the blood. I was also told that if you have asthma skin problems seem to appear also.Speaking is also important in the sense that the person needs to be able to talk throught their feelings and problems in a rational way.The inability to express one's feelings can result in internal turmoil leading to passive anger. The stomach and the skin is also related. Tumeric is great for both the skin and the stomach. Hope I helped! Well keep up and well wishes to all S.i.r. khalsa
Guest guest
Hey Gladys, It sounds like you're at least aware of what is happening and that's a start. We all have worn "masks" at times. And everyone has had their own dynamic that created and sustained it. Get to know yourself through any one kriya for 40 days and there will be a shift. I have learned a lot of times it is best to approach a problem by NOT approaching it. To not try and SOLVE a problem but to expand on area(s) where you are whole and vital and in so doing, you will DIS-SOLVE the problem (calling the devil "neurosis" doesn't make him go away). Approach yourself at the same time everyday and begin going through the set. Each time you do a set you have an opportunity to experience another level or aspect of yourself. Always chant afterward for 11 to 31 minutes. Reconnecting in this way will recycle the areas where we have split from our sincerity, making for wholeness. You can do the Kriya for Inner Anger if you feel it fits you but there are many others. What is your complete birthday? Go get your free numerology (www.3HO.org) and see if that gives something more to work with. It's tricky sometime figuring out what you need. It can be like a hall of mirrors trying to figure out what I need at any given time. Ultimately I want to walk out the door with all Ten Bodies aligned and working and nothing does that better a strong yoga set (almost any) and 62 minutes of chanting, and doing it in the Amrit Vela. The below set is a good wake up series and ends with a facial massage. By the time you have gotten to the jaw apply a firm enough pressure that you want to make a sound and allow that sound to release from deep. Don't be shy about this expression (I'm usually yelling at this point and always feel circulation to my facial muscles and my brain increase. This actually makes me feel bright and alert.!) It's really good for sinuses, also. Ciao for now, Dharam 1. Cat stretch 4 -5x times 2. Arms and legs up 90 degrees with LDB* 3. Push – pull legs 18” w/ arms along side 4. Cobra pose w/ tongue out and eyes wide open 5. Cat – cow 3 mins 6. Baby pose 7. Triangle pose with alternate limbs held for 3 mins. Switch sides 8. Massage nose up sides to eyebrow and sockets, out to temple, around ears and jaw joints * Long deep breath gladymarmalade wrote: > Hi Dharam, > I'm interested in trying the kriya for inner anger.
