I mean this is about clearing out the old stuff isn't it? Where's the old stuff - in ypur past. Hell, I started hearing from people I went to high school with (not a happy time in my life). ALL KINDS of past energy from phone calls to tears comes up for me. Insofar as is possible, I notice it and move along. Sometime noticing it and spending a little time embracing it as one of the things that made you the wonderful person you are today.
