Guest guest Posted November 10, 2002 Report Share Posted November 10, 2002 Sat Nam Gina, I can TOTALLY relate! I too am finding that I have to change most of my "playgrounds and playmates". People get pissed, usually in direct proportion to how much of their crap is no longer acceptable to me. Your not playing the same game as they are anymore! Cool, huh? but lonely for a little while. I'm 44 and been in and out of school for the last 4 years, so I understand that out of step feeling. The truth is, probably alot of classmates are feeling out of step with you. You have the life experience to back up your game face, most of them are young, insecure and have no concept of what it means to "endure". Your alot like me - it's not enough to survive, I WILL thrive!! That may be that "SOUL of 10" black and white thinking in my chart, but this is one area where I feel it has served me pretty well! Hang in there baby! This is only the beginning of the ride. I know - that spooks me too! Work that navel! Work it, work it! Atta girl!!
