Guest guest
Sat Nam ya'll, I know there are Kriya's for everything from the immune system to prosperity, but has anyone ever ACTUALLY come up with a KY protocol for HIV/AIDS? There are as many different issues that can be involved as there are AIDS patients I know, but some thing I things are "across the board". Immune function, shame issues, fear, centering, creation - stuff like that. I know that many of these things are common to all KY students, but I'm wondering if there isn't a place/way for the KY community to hookup with the HIV community specifically. Heck, there might even be some funding available to examine the efficacy of KY with things like HIV. If this resonates with anyone I'm certainly available to collaberate. As funding for AIDS research and services continues to dry up, more and more of us are looking to the holistic care communities to fill the breach. Anybody know how to write a grant proposal? Not sure about where you live of course, but here in San Diego at The Gay/Lesbian Centre there is a department for holistic healing. It includes massage, Reiki and even Sat Nam Rasayan. They encourage teachers to come in and donate their time healing and teaching. > If this resonates with anyone I'm certainly available to collaberate. It most definitely resonates with me. Check with your local gay/lesbian center and see what they have to offer. If they don't already, they may need someone to introduce KY to them. :-) Take care and many blessings. ~Jeffrey
Guest guest
Sat Nam Leo. I'm not positive about this, but you may want to see what you can find from Shanti Shanti Kaur Kalsa. I had taken my first ky class with her back in March or April of this year. She was a guest instructor and the class focused on yoga and healing. I think I remember reading somewhere that she's done a lot of work with HIV and Aids, but that part I'm not positive about. Others on the board may know better. Guest guest
Leo, you've got the AIDS/HIV picture pretty well laid out. It really is so much more than a virus. Shanti Shanti Kaur (drshantishanti) is working in this area, to the best of my recollection. She is in New Mexico but I believe spends a fair bit of time in LA.
