Hello everyone,

Could someone please explain to me how to do the smiling buddah/Christ

meditation best they can? I tried looking it up in the archives but I forgot

my sign-in name and password and tried retreiving it but failed (haha).

Sorry to bother, but it would be very greatly appreciated. I am pleased to

announce to everyone that I, at age 15, will be getting baptised this

Sunday. I would like to use this meditation on Christ to prepare me and

bring me into Christ before and after my baptism. I am very excited and hope

to hear from you all.

Best wishes,

David

Satnam ji,

The Smiling Buddha Meditation.

Sit in easy pose, curl the ring and the little finger and press them down with

the thumb keeping the first two fingers straight.

Bring the arms up so the elbows are pushed back and a 30 degree angle is made

between the upper arm and forearm. The forearms must be parallel.

The palms face forward. Concentrate at the 3rd eye point very powerfully. Chant

the mantra Sa Ta Na Ma mentally. Make sure the elbows are pressed

back and the chest is out . Do this for 11 minutes and then inhale deeply exhale

open and close the fists several times and relax. The whole

mantra means I am truth. It is a gesture and exercise of happiness and it opens

the flow of the heart center. It brings about beauty and peace.

It can be found in the Intermediate meditation manual.

Enjoy s.i.r. khalsa
