Guest guest
Sat Nam, I'm curious about Lucid dreaming. About a year after I began practicing KY I began to have lucid dream experiences. As I begin to fall asleep I experience this extremely loud crashing sound in my ears. Does anyone know, what is this sound I'm hearing? Sometimes the experiences are disturbing because I become lucid but I can't move my body, other times I'm just witnessing myself dreaming and I don't mean that I'm lucid within the dream, I don't even have a sense of having a body. It's like I'm just somewhere watching and seeing my mind download. I don't get any rest when this happens. One other observation during these lucid experiences, is that there is always a very heightened sense of sexual arousal that accompanies them and the content of the dreams warrants no reason to be sexually excited at that time. I've experienced this during Venus Kriyas and while practicing SNR as well. I understand why I experience it then, so I'm wondering if during a lucid dream if it's the same reason or is this some distortion I am experiencing? Which leads me to my question, What is it that is trying to happen during a lucid dream? How should I be using lucid dreaming to evolve? I would appreciate hearing from anyone who could shed some light. Sat Sangeet
Guest guest
Sat Nam, there are two great books on Lucid Dreaming and it's many components that are worth reading. They are called Lucid Dreaming and Exploring The World Of Lucid Dreaming. The author's name is Stephen Laberge, he is a sleep researcher at Stanford University. These books may give you some direction. Good luck! Mark
