Guest guest
Sat Nam ya'll! I've been doing the Smiling Buddha Meditation, which opens the heatrt to Christ Consciousness, for a little while now. Consequently, I've been re-examining both my traditional and non-traditional ideas about Christ, who/what he was, how does he effact me, just what do I think it was all about; that sort of thing. Where this led me is a REAL long story and I aint tellin it here, but it has clarified some big things for me So I was washing up the breakfast dishes this morning when a thought hit me outta the blue: "So if you are your own Messiah, what sort of messiah are you? Petulant; in need of ritual appeasment? Or gracious and gentle, sharing yourself so that others may find the best within themselves?" For me, today, according to the evidence, the answer lies somewhere in the middle. It's opened me up to an intense new line of thinking, that's always cool! But for some reason, I just wanted to share. Hope it's useful to somebody. Sat Nam, Leo
Guest guest
Boy do I hear you Leo. I started doing the same thing just before beginning ky. Since then I've been doing a lot of reading (Christ the Yogi by Ravi Ravidra was really good) as well as a lot of soul searching. But for me it hasn't stopped. I find myself constantly growing and evolving my concept of Christ the more I learn, understand and feel. The funny thing is, I think in some respects I truly understand less now than I did before I started down this path. But what I do understand, I feel deep inside. I KNOW it. And I never had that experience before. ANd I value that type of knowing above the book-learning and lecturing that occurred as a child. I'm just really enjoying the growth and exploration that I'm doing. Good luck in your search and please post any 'revelations' you come across!
