Guest guest
Hi, I am new with KY. However, I found the warm-up, streching exercises in the Beginner's series very helpful but suddenly, everything changed! I started experiencing more pains than normal. The knees, Spine, Ribs, Ankles, Back, Spine etc started to hurt. Perhaps, I presumed, it was because I tried to achieve any posture- even if it hurts so badly...but I realised that as I stopped the Asanas for a day, the Pains got worse, so I continued, this time more gently than before, but I still feel much pain in the process! I believe there should be a way-out with YOGA too, so I never saw a Doctor till now...in any case, I think I need some help here!!! What should I do? How do I get pain-free??! Should I quit or should I continue and if I should continue to what extent should I try to do them, Postures? I'd also love to know how to perfectly master the Half-Lotus pose, comfortablly! I'd be really glad to get help from this Group. Thank You all... Snenry Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus. Guest guest
to: henry snive Hi,Henry I am a Hatha yoga teacher from Spain... There are many asanas (poses) that are specificaly difficult for one individual (like lotus) and need to have some months of daily training.. (I understand you are new on this) and before you try to even achive half lotus you have to try the intermediate poses and easier one before you even get the half lotus. As a general rule it is very important to make some warm up (smooth if you are not use to) exercices like sun salutation) or general gimnastics exercices before you start with yoga.. When you get pain and it does nor desappear is because you are going to far before warming up your muscles,, you should stop doing like that or you may come up with some problems.. in yoga like in many other thing the slower you do it the faster you get results... when you try toi make any pose pls, relax yourself make your body go only as far as you can without pushing at all..use you comun sence and always make concious your brain/head with the part of the body you are exercising... sat nam Luis Martin ----------------- Ya tenemos Lotería de NAVIDAD, descúbrelo aquí: http://loteria.ozu.es ----------------- Correo enviado desde http://www.ozu.es
