Guest guest
I had to hop on this morning and share something with you all. I have been doing Sat Kriya for just over a week now. Well about day 4 or 5, when I finished, I could feel a 'fuzzy' sensation several inches below my navel. I think this is where the 2nd chakra is. Up to this point, I haven't felt it at all. Then I remembered Seva Simran saying that Sat Kriya can help open the 2nd chakra. So I was tickled I was finally doing this kriya correctly. The odd thing was, when I finished doing side bends in the Flexible SPine set the next day, I could also feel the 2nd chakra too. But I didn't feel it on any of the other postures in that set. This happened a couple of days in a row. So I guess I'm just saying what others have said "each posture affects the body on different levels". I never would have thought that side bends would stimulate the 2nd chakra, cool! I'm just happy I have chakras!! I've only felt a few and thought I may be 'missing' some. Guest guest
There's another neat way to feel your chakras. I think I read about it in Hands of Light. If I remember correctly you can somewhat rest your right hand palm up in your lap, allow your fingers to curl up and thumb will curl over almost touching index finger (thumb and index almost forming a "C" ). Then with hand positioned in this way, move your hand slowly up and to each chakra location... the thumb will experience a magnetic pull inward toward the chakra as you slowly pass a chakra, if the chakra is open. It sounds like you'll get a reading from all of yours. Sat Nam Julia
