Guest guest Posted December 10, 2002 Report Share Posted December 10, 2002 Hello All, There has been a lot of talk lately about the importance of relaxation after meditation and poses. Last night I was relaxing after I did the Sa TA Na Ma meditation. I wasn't trying to visualize anything but I saw red flower on my lower abdomen. The color slowly drained from the flower into my body and the whole flower eventually absorbed. It was a pretty neat experience. It made me realize for myself the importance of relaxation. It made me think of yoga as food, we put time and energy into cultivating a beautiful pose or meditation but if we don't digest it it will rot. I thought of the flower on my belly and how if I wouldn't have absorbed it it still would have been there but eventually it would have withered away. I would still have absorb some of the energy from it, but most of it would have just returned to the source. Just thought I'd share.
