Guest guest Posted December 10, 2002 Report Share Posted December 10, 2002 Sat Nam Michelle, On Sa tap thumb to index finger, Ta thumb to middle finger, Na thumb to ring and Ma thumb to pinky. As you chant the mantra visualize it coing in through the crown then coming out through the third eye point to open the energy at the 3rd eye. With Sa Ta Na Ma my teacher says you have to experiment to see how it works best for you. I originally did a version where you chant outloud for 5mins/whisper it for 5 min/chant in your head 10 min/whisper5/outloud 5 minutes. (40 days) Then in the last few months I've begun experimenting. When I'm really turned up I find chanting in my head, tapping my fingers, really pulling my navel in strongly on each syllable of the exhale cuts through gut wrenching thoughts. Then when I want to experience the sweetness of my being I chant it out loud with tapping my fingers. You may also want to look at the book Breathwalk.
