Guest guest
Hello, I've just d to the list. I've been practicing Kundalini yoga sporadically (and on my own) for a couple of years, and am trying to make my practice more regular and committted. So I thought I'd join this group! I'm sure that I will learn a lot from you all, and look forward to reading your posts! Larissa Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus. Guest guest
Hi Carol, welcome to the list! Where are you from? Perhaps there are teachers, classes in your area? The list here is a wonderful resource of knowledge and wisdom, sometimes even a little bit of wit ;-) Breaking old habits: hmmm - what kind of habits? Identifying them is already a good thing. Setting the intention to avoid them even better. To counteract with some good habits helps you with the elimination. A good point to start is to do some daily exercise, ideally in the morning. Do not jump in the trap of most beginners and want too much in too short time. 15 min exercise and moderation is already a good start. The way towards self-integration, towards Yoga (to unite yourself, your body, soul and mind with the ONE) is not an instant thing, but a gradual and sometimes rather slow process. Choosing Kundalini Yoga gives you the chance of being on a 'high-way'. Tell us a little bit about your back, your background, your expectations and your wishes. Appropriate exercises are then much easier to recommend. Feel free to ask virtually any questions. Here are lots of knowledgeable people which can help and answer you. Guest guest
Hi Jurgen, Thanks for wisdom and sharing. As far as my back goes, my spine is in great condition per the chiropractor and also no problems as I work hack in exercises at gym. As for breakaing old habits, I am referring to repetitive habits such as nail biting, and the like. For some it may be called OCD, obsessive compulsive behavior, in which I mean it's something you keep doing even though you don't want to. You may be in control, but not in control enough to not do the behavior. Does this make sense? I like how you phrased Kundalini as a "highway." When I looked at a book, they mentioned the pineal gland is the area needing work so that is what I would love to know more about. I also read Kundalini is very powerful, went to a list where teachers are listed and was unsuccessful in my search. I will check some yoga pamplets local. Thanks for sharing. Oh, my expectations you asked about: total freedom from destructive behaviors. carolg Kundaliniyoga, Jürgen Laske <jlaske@g...> wrote: > Breaking old habits: hmmm - what kind of habits?
