Guest guest
I agree with Dharam that anger will put taxing affects on the body. It is no secret that happy people are physically better off than sad, angry or stressed people. However, I don't see lack of anger as an excuse to eat fats and dairy. For example, my car would run for years with dirty oil. Even if I use good gasoline and keep the car well washed. But, it will run much better if I keep the oil clean and well maintained as well. Just because it will run with dirty oil, why put that strain on it? Likewise, just because our bodies will function with fats and dairy in them, why put that strain on them? I prefer to function at optimum and what a great feeling that is! These days none of us live in a perfect world. There is pollution (land and air) all around us. Emotional pollution surrounds us as well, whether or not it is our own. So the least we can do for ourselves is to keep our systems as clean and well functioning as possible. No excuses. Don't give your body any more bricks to carry than necessary. It will remind you of this later in the form of sickness and fatigue. In answer to the legumes question. No, I do not eat legumes. However, I do not have full research on the topic of legumes. I only know how they make me feel. I've learned to trust my body and it hasn't lied to me yet :-).
