Guest guest
Dear Dharam, You mentioned a few posts back about drinking lemon juice in warm water before bed and when getting up in the morning as a cleansing practice, good for the liver. I knew that drinking lemon juice in the morning was a common yogic practice to cleanse the liver and get the digestive system working, but wasn't aware it was good to do it at night as well? How much lemon juice do you use? Would half in the morning and half in the evening be too much? Also, could you clarify... although lemon is acidic in nature, is it right that when you drink/eat it... it becomes alkaline in the body and is thus good for you (being that we should try to avoid too much acid producing food)?
