Guest guest
A fascinating subject indeed. Just like the one our minister asked the other Sunday. " How do you envision God?" I pondered, meditated and it all seemed to come back to the: "we are one". - the only way it makes sense. Our soul, essence , our whole being , as well as the essence in everything around us, animal, plant. rock ..... I see as expressions of God, His manifestations of Himself experiencing His creations. He is us, a diminutessimal part in us and in everything around us, in all there is about and within us. Thus we are one with all there is. As for animals wanting or willing to sacrifice themselves for us - - - for food, medical experimentation, or any other reasons - - - - why, anyone here recall any volunteers? I don't. I have, however, heard of animals taking an initiative in saving lives thus making true sacrifices. Dogs, cats, horses, dolphins, and the list goes on.... To take an animal to "sacrifice it" - -for what ever reason, -- to me, is killing. My point of view, Ruth
