Guest guest
One of the things I've been doing lately is Siali Arti Pranayam with Siri Gaitri Manra, which calls for Gyan Mudra. Is it kosher to substitute mudra? In this case I was thinking of Surya mudra because it specifically targets health and energy. And I guess the question applies generally as well. Under what circumstances is it ok to change up the mudra of a particular meditation? Sat Nam, Leo
Guest guest
Hi Leo, We are told specifically NOT to change anything in the teachings, be they sets or meditations. There are some positions we can modify, but not change. So there are no times one can change the mudra in a meditation.
