Ong Namo....

A few weeks ago I came across a CD sample feature of "Ong Namo..." the

sound carried clear and vibrant -- - I could have listened to it for ever and

was hoping to get it. - I was interrupted and called away at that point.

Holiday preparations kept me further occupied - - - - But now I can't find it.

It seems to me someone had recommended this CD or website and I had clicked on

to it. I've been looking back to previous posts throughout this last month but

can't find anything. Does anyone remember posting, or remember coming across a

CD sample feature like this?

Hi Ruth

There is a very good version of Ong Namo on the Song of the Sacred Gong.

(Available from Yoga Technology). There is a sound clip to be found on the

Kundalini Yoga site at the end of the section "Tuning In" at

kundalini yogaprep.html

Also check out kycds.html - scroll down until you

find Gurudass Singh & Kaur. The first track on "Longing to Belong" is Ong

Namo.

Thank you ever so much Gordon. This is not the one I am looking for.

The one I am looking for starts off with " Ong Namo...." the way you would

begin your Kundalini Yoga practice.

I was hoping to do it along with the CD - Without the benefit of a teacher or

classes I need all the help I can get.

Thank you , Ruth

Hi Ruth

What you are describing is exactly what you get from Sat Jiwan Singh at the

start of the "Song of the Sacred Gong". He repeats the mantra 3 times, just

as you would do at the start of your KY session.

We have been busy moving servers this weekend, and the sound clip was not

available. It is not working again. Please check out again the URL I gave

you - kundalini yogaprep.html

Gordon,

Thank you, thank you, I so appreciate your help. Checked both out with great

hopes. The Sacred gong is tremendous and I will probably get it - but I only

heard the sound of the gong on the CD sampling - nothing else.

Gordon,

Thank you for your patience, I had already done that and tried it again now -

just the same. But there is no

no "Ong Na Mo" only the exceptional sound of the sacred gong.

Hi Ruth

Click on the part that says "CLICK HERE for a Real Audio clip of the mantra"

You must be clicking on the link below it which takes you to the Yoga

Technology site and to the section on the CD.

I thought at first I was going nuts! :-)
