Guest guest
Sat Nam Ajai, I went to the Taking it all homwe class the morning of the 24th where we were given the 40 day meditation from Yogi Bhajan. As Follows: 1) sit in easy pose, left elbow bent beside the ribs, forearm perpendicular to the ground, palm faces forward, fingers point to roof except the ring finger which touches the tip of the thumb. 2)Right arm straight out in front of the body, no bend in elbow, palm to ceiling and cupped as if your recieving a gift in your hand. Arm is held at shoulder height. (So right arm is meeting the torso at a 90 degree angle). * keep right arm forward it will tend to stray off to the side or lower or bend elbow to make it easier! 3) Focus is at the cleft of the chin with eyes closed down. Watch that the head doesn't bend forward with the eyes! 4) Breath long and deep! 11 minutes! No more no less. 5) Immediately afterwards, talk! don't meditate! Creates lots of energy! This will put huge pressure on your meridians, glandular system and nervous system. Go through the pain and shaking allow the adjustment to occur. Breathe deeper! This is actually a 120 day meditation (if you want to keep going after the 40) Works on the above mentioned and seeing the unseen and knowing the unknown. Then! If you'd like triple effect you can add: 1)while doing the above, roll the tongue so the tip of the bottom of the tongue presses the roof of the mouth and chant Wahe Guru in your head as you do the meditation. Note: You can get lost in this meditation, have some there who can take you out of it afterwards or set a timer that has a beep to it to bring you back. *Guru Dahn(not the right spelling?) Said that he'd been practicing this med for 8 years since YB gave it and it's just in the last year that he's started the triple effect! So use your discretion. He also said even after this long he experiences pain everytime! At about the 7 min mark. I experience pain right from the start! And I think that's it!
