Guest guest
This Robert Svoboda has obviously never conversed with, nor does he understand the planetary species of whom he speaks. ALL canines are not lovable and sloppily openhearted. ALL avians are not light and brightly cheerful. ALL large dogs do not need vigorous exercise. ALL small, furry creatures like guinea pigs and hamsters are not high strung. ALL cats do not have strong opinions. Animals of other species are their own beings, not little reflections of human personalities and certainly not "small versions of their masters." It makes me cringe and my heart sink to even type such statements. Most people prefer the company of any being with whom they can relate. Are all acquaintances to be chosen for therapeutic imbalances? How unfair to the animal kingdom. Suggestions of "pet" choices, "ownership" to compliment psychological imbalances? Overbearing personalities, violent personalities, maternal neediness? Oh, the pity of the poor creatures subjected to the ridicule of such. What an insult to their inner spirit and expression. This is no more a crime than to marry because one is uncomfortable alone with self or bear children because one is afraid of growing old alone. Perhaps those with such imbalances might consider a nice, stuffed furry toy to amuse their neediness. Please let the valued, real species be their own selves, not what we would wish or need them to be. A how to choose a pet based on your own imbalances published on a kundlaini yoga list? Things that make one say, "Hmmm?" for several reasons. -Heidi www.candlebeefarm.com ------------ Introducing NetZero Long Distance 1st month Free! When the heart is right, "for" and "against" are forgotten. -Chuang Zzu Candle Bee Farm wrote: > This Robert Svoboda has obviously never conversed with, nor does he > understand the planetary species of whom he speaks. > > ALL canines are not lovable and sloppily openhearted. > ALL avians are not light and brightly cheerful. > ALL large dogs do not need vigorous exercise. > ALL small, furry creatures like guinea pigs and hamsters are not high > strung. > ALL cats do not have strong opinions. > > Animals of other species are their own beings, not little reflections of > human personalities and certainly not "small versions of their masters."
