Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone, I decided to join the many people on this list in starting a 40 day Kirtan Kriya meditation on the new moon. However, yesterday I only had time for 11 minutes (already!). Does this still count, or must I start all over again at day one? Thanks ,
Guest guest
Dear , > I decided to join the many people on this list in starting a 40 day Kirtan > Kriya meditation on the new moon. Great. However, yesterday I only had time for 11 > minutes (already!). Does this still count, or must I start all over again> at day one? Count it and keep going. If you skip a day without doing anything then you have to start again. If you find you can only do 11 minutes then do 11 minutes. 40 days of 11 minutes is much better than 40 days of nothing. One day you will miss the 31 minutes and then you will have the time. Sat Nam, GRK
Guest guest
Sat Nam, Thanks for addressing this. My intention for this 40-day sadhana is to do Kirtan Kriya for 31 minutes, but already on a couple of days I haven't had the energy and just done 11. I am doing this meditation right before I fall asleep, and I need to discipline myself to go to bed early enough for the full half-hour!! Although last night I was absolutely exhausted, but went for the 31 minutes anyway, and after just a few minutes of chanting became awake & aware enough to have a really intense experience with it. After only 7 days of Kirtan Kriya, I have stopped drinking coffee in the morning, **without even thinking about it**!! Coffee addiction is something I have been struggling with for years... I don't want to get crazy and think I'm "cured" permanently, but isn't that weird!!! It just happened!!! ;p Prem Ranjit >"Gururattan K.Khalsa" <rattanak >Kundaliniyoga ><Kundaliniyoga> >Re: Kirtan Kriya >Tue, 7 Jan 2003 19:57:53 -0800 > >Dear , > > > I decided to join the many people on this list in starting a 40 day >Kirtan > > Kriya meditation on the new moon. > >Great. > > However, yesterday I only had time for 11 > > minutes (already!). Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone, Well, I finished my first 40 days of Kirtan Kriya. I haven't noticed any changes yet. My intuition tells me that I need to keep doing this kriya. I guess the changes will come when they are ready so I will just continue and not focus on any type of results. Blessings to all, Gina
Guest guest
Sat Nam Gina, No changes after 40 days, nothing unusual. I rarely go through changes on this meditation, but when I do it I feel 'repatterned', or rewired. I've not done it for 40 days though. We all have memorys, feelings and such at deeper levels. You may need to go deeper and continue to reach deeper levels, I believe you will start clearing at some point. Are you doing the 'L' form? I feel this is more powerful. Guest guest
Sat Nam Deva, Yes, I am using the L form while doing this meditation. It helps me to keep my mind from wandering. I am going to stick with this one for a longer period of time. Anyway, I am getting accustomed to this kriya because it's becoming a part of my daily routine Many blessings, Gina
Guest guest
Sat Nam Gina, I once did this meditation for 120 days, and while some really deep stuff came up during the meditation, it was long after I finished the 120 days that I became aware of the deep changes it created in me. So keep up ! There may be a lot more going on than you realise. Avtar ______________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month!
