One question Where do you do your chanting please? :)and (can I join?) (Only a little joke) Would realy like to say thank you all for your postings. I haved laughed my socks off, recoiled in horror, been moved to tears, transported to the most wonderful musical and informative websites and never been bored for a second since I found this site. I feel so many things happening, it is sopercalifragelisticexpialidocious !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Love you all Thank You Carol x PS I love doing the asanas and am well into the neti and gagging (cold showers are not possible at moment. It is feeeeeeezing here!!!!!) Will let you know when I take the plunge brrrrrrrrrrrr!! Toyb said .. As for the socks, I am guessing that it is the same reason why people should not chant with clothes on and if they do it shouldn't be wool, cotton or polyester as they inhibit energy.I am hoping that someone respond who knows definitely why we are suppose to keep our heads covered and our feet uncovered. > _______________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses. Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone, Carol it is good to hear from you again. It isnt too warm here either but I do my practices near the fireplace. I'm also glad I found this group. I think that I just discovered a yoga group that I can join locally. I was talking to an associate at one of the local herbal stores and his instructor teaches Kriya yoga, tai chi, and Kung fu so I think I might dive in, fully clothed of course (wink). Krishan-Shiva, sorry I won't see you there at the solstice. Thanks for the website. For some reason I couldn't access the page this evening. Maybe it will come up in the morning. To the loveable Satsangeet, I am glad that you will be at the solstice. Did u see the webpage that Krishan-Shiva gave me--www.3HO.org to find the schedule for this year's Summer Solstice? The song you were singing is beautiful. Dharam, thank you for the information about what to do about the ears. For some reason my ears don't bother me too much when I fly or when I take a drive up into the mountains. And, I don't know how to swim but I will make it a point to learn this year. - Carol Ann Ivory Kundaliniyoga Friday, January 10, 2003 4:37 PM Re: Chanting without clothes on.
