Guest guest
Sat Nam everyone, I believe I've said in the past my answer to everything is pretty much breathing. Always breathe deeper and see what happens. My second line of defense is the calling on of Guru Ram Das. Whether it's for world peace or the smooth working of my computer system. I remember my teacher saying to us once during a really challenging posture that if you chant Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Se So Hung it will become bearable, because if you call on Guru Ram Das he has to show up for you and provide some healing or transformation, forward movement whatever... I've relied on this info like the breath of life and it hasn't failed me yet. Although I prefer to use...Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru... At some point in everyday of my life and usually at many points in a day I'll find myself chanting in my head this mantra, seeking spiritual guidance or transformation. Obviously, I'd use it alot when I'm doing healing, but also very much in conversations that aren't moving forward or altercations etc. Today I used it for something a bit silly, but hey! it worked! I was taking a CPR recert course and at the end of it you write a multiple choice test. I hate tests because I struggle with comprehension of the questions often, even though I could speak to someone about the information. There was a question that had numbers in it and you kinda had to do a math calculation to figure it out and I couldn't understand what was being asked...so I sat and struggled for awhile and got flustered..thinking great I'm going to fail and have to take the course again! First thing I thought was...your panicing, breathe...so I did and the next thing I know I'm chanting Guru Guru etc...within a second I had an intuitive flash in my head, of a person "acting out" what the question was asking! Then I was able to answer it correctly. So apparently, no task is too small...Lord of Miracles big and small! May Guru Ram Das ji bless you all, Hail Guru Ram Das, Hail Guru Ram Das, Hail Guru Ram Das and heal the world! (and Gordon's computer flow!) Walk in the Light of the One, Sat Sangeet P.S. Leo we can change the state of World Peace one soul at a time by living the Dharma. My teacher oftens reminds us that what you do for yourself you do for another, meaning, when you do yoga or meditation for yourself, you're really doing it for the world, because when you change yourself, your enviroments will change and reflect what's inside of you. To quote my teacher,"So for God's sake, if you won't do yoga for yourself, atleast do it for us!" Ha Ha! The message never changes...Keep Up!
