Sat Nam...everyone

I've had quite a realization in the last 72 hours! If we ever think

that our enviroments are not reflecting what's going on inside of

us, think again!

For the last few days I've been wondering to myself, why am I

speaking so much about gagging? Like what a wonderful topic to spend

hours speaking about really! It's all been part of a transformation

and integration I realized this morning that I went through in the

last few days.

I accidentally set my timer wrong yesterday for the,40day med given

by YB at winter solstice, and ended up doing it for 20 minutes

versus the "no more or less" 11 mintues it's supposed to be

practiced for. When things like that happen, I always "smell God"

in it. Something is a foot and be aware! This med is supposed to

help you see the unseen/know the unknown etc. I think that extra 10

minutes really opened something up for me, because I woke up this

morning, did the "ritual" and tuned in, and in poured this

understanding of a grande theme being played out in my enviroment

mirroring my inner process!

What sparked the understanding was Gururattan's comment on the

Warrior and the Queens approach to gagging.

Some of you may recall in an earlier email, I described myself

as "coming on like a Kling-on Warrior" when I'm out of balance. My

Mars energy can take over in a very Masculine way and that isn't a

state of balance for me, because at the heart of it, I'm really a

Queen. (Although...wearing "Kling-On Warrior" on my tool belt, can

come in handy at times! Ha Ha!)

There's a constant "dance" within each of us to find the balance

point in our being. We all have tendencies and preferred ways of

being, whether they serve our higher purpose or not, you'll have to

examine that on your own and see, but we feel best when we find the

neutral ground. The place where we act from the center of our

being, responding with appropriate action and the "heartmind"

intelligence.

This requires an integration of the yin/yang,left/right or if you

like the feminine/masculine energies. My Mars energy is a very

masculine trait, BUT, when it becomes tempered by the feminine

energy, it goes from Warrior to Queen. When Queen or King is done

right, it's a hand that rules with courage, compassion and heart

combining radiance and magnetism with the qualities of the neutral

mind. My Path number in numerology is a 9 (subtle body and also a

very feminine number). Since going to Tantric at winter solstice,

when I came home, I now recognize that alot of my enviroments and

relationships had become "Feminized" if you will. Those who usually

reacted to me with harshness had softened, those who were

comfortable relating more with my warrior nature now felt on shaky

ground, not sure how to be with me and those who never noticed me

before, began to be drawn towards me? I am beginning to touch more

of who I truely am and living it.

By the way, Thank you Dharam, you play a wonderful Warrior/Masculine

principle! I've had the pleasure of seeing Dharam with

my "physical" eyes at winter solstice and this guy has "Warrior"

written all over him! In case you haven't noticed by his written

word and what he posts. "Rage On, young woman!" Them's warriors

words if I ever heard them! If you had to go into battle, just from

looking at him, this is the guy you'd choose to have standing in

front of you for that battle! "Great Masculine" energy, our

spiritual health is only affected for the better by your well

thought, informative and always supportive posts, thank you Dharam.

And Gururattan, embodies the feminine principle, beautifully. By

the emails, I observe that she recieves, people are drawn to her for

support like the "lap" of a mother. She's insightful and guides

with a purposeful but gentle and compassionate hand. You touch many

lives.

And this is just the "tip" of the iceburg of connections and

understandings I experienced this morning around what's been playing

out for me in this group situation and how do I continue on my path

with excellence!

My teacher made the comment that the internet works very much

like "True Reality". I think I'm really beginning to undestand that

statement. I believe I've been extremely fortunate in my life to

have come into contact with the teacher that I have. His gift # in

numerology is an 11 and he embodies all of which I've spoken about

beautifully and masterfully. May we all have such a blessing in our

life.

And I continue to be thankful and grateful to the teachers who

continue to enter into my life (you know who you are), fine tuning

and tweeking me into the excellence of a human being!

Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Namo Namo!

Dearest Sat Sangeet and Gururattan,

Thank you for your musings...they get me going.

I am wrestling with this principle of Warrior/Queen and it's possible

parallels to Shakti/Bhakti. Shakti is the power of precision and

discipline. Bhakti is the feeling of surrender and devotion. When we practice

our yoga and meditation "properly", we are doing both Shakti and

Bhakti. For instance while "doing" a posture we also feeling, breathing and, in

general, "paying attention" to and "being" in the process. While

chanting, we are vibrating the central channel or string, the other strings, in

turn, are being vibrated sympathetically. We are the player and

the listener. And yes, if I touch that point on the back of my tongue just right

(Warrior/Shakti?), and then remember to simply allow the breath

to move(Queen/Bhakti?) then reflex happens and everything works out beautifully.

For me, this experience leaves me more in touch with my

receptivity, my feminine. I am able to listen and hear. If I can hear myself I

can be self aware. I can then hear others. Self awareness is the

awareness of the needs of others.

If I step back a bit further, I can see this same dance at play in my seva at

Solstice. You're right, I do play the Warrior real good at at

times. This past Solstice I so overwhelmed with running the Audio/Video. I don't

really have the time to hang. There were supposed to be a four

person crew. Two of them bailed out just before Solstice. The third fell ill

after the first day of Tantric. It was down to just me after that.

That left me having to scrounge up some inexperienced help. I have to be a

warrior but a silent one (Ninjitsu?). If you notice me, it's because I

did something imprecisely, and you'll hear audio feedback, buzzes and screeches

and you have to believe me when I say that if there is ever a

grating, abrasive noise, Yogiji as the Mahan Tantric, feels it in his subtle

body regardless of where he is physically, and it is painful for him.

And with all this responsibility I continue to breath, keep a smile within a

grasp and have even been known to nod off, and I do catch a buzz from

just being in the middle of all you folks doing the Tantric. I do make sure to

allow myself relax at every possible moment and have a big "come

down" afterward, starting with a night in a hotel with a jacuzzi....In the weeks

after, the emotional work comes on it's own! All in all, it is a

blessing...but I do wish I had a little more laid back time. Maybe next

Solstice. At Summer Solstice we have three different options for hot water

spas within an hour of the site.

Interesting point, I can say that maybe this past "contact buzz" was more

potent than past ones and that may be because I was so over extended.

Stress, the final Frontier? Sometimes we can balance an imbalance in our doshas

by going all the way into the imbalance and being it. No judgment

or censoring, just being. It's homeopathic rather than allopathic.

I also had to ask for help (not a forte of mine). That actually worked out

real cool, after a bumpy start.

It is true that the masculine/warrior is impotent without the feminine aspect.

(Maybe the beard and the dress is a reminder, Tee Hee!)

Sat Nam,

Dharam

P.S. I love Paintball! and I am merciless on the field. It's so much fun. My

overall character number is a Ten

but I am a Three in so many ways. Total teddy bear.

Dear Dharam Singh,

Thanks for your reflections. Are you a Taurus? I am writing a new piece on

the role of men and the masculine in relationship to the feminine. Taurus

and the Earths signs are Shakti, a combination of both masculine and

feminine energies.

Men have to learn how to hold the male pole or connection to unchanging

Spirit and still interact in the world which is all creative feminine

energy. You were tested at Solstice to see if you could do this. And then

you will get tested again and again. Keep up, men, you have a very

important role to play.

Very cool to be in touch with the power of this technique for you.
