Guest guest
Sat Nam Suzanne. If you haven't figured it out by the summer and you will be at summer solstice there will be many people there to help you learn how to wrap your 'container'. If that's not in the stars for you, it will come if you keep asking people in your community. I'll be happy to tell you what I've learned. my personal thoughts: I think that wearing our turban works for us in many ways. There is, in addition to what Dharam and others have stated, the idea of how it feels to carry ones self when our head is contained. The generous women who helped me at solstice also spoke about the elegance of carrying your head and not in a 'cosmetic' sense, but in a way that honors ones sense of the feminine, and general awareness of being in our body. There is a subtlety that accompanies this awareness that I'm not sure I have words for at this moment. Perhaps others have thoughts on this? Dharam, I appreciated seeing the pics of Patch Adams getting his turban wrapped- the last time I saw him he was dressed as a giant tooth, holding a brush - I stayed at his pad for a few days many years ago when the yurt I was living in, in Maryland got flooded out-the Ghazundeit Institute was a brainstorm then (please excuse all the spelling mistakes in this letter). blessings, Karen _______________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8.
