Guest guest
For anyone contemplating whether to try a cold shower or not I will share this... I started maybe 2 weeks ago?? Today before I went out I had to take a regular shower and I observed something interesting. This was the first warm shower I've taken since I started. I have begun to acclimatize to the cold water. During my cold shower this morning I remember thinking...this isn't so cold...and during my warm shower later I was thinking...wow! this is only luke warm and I'm not freezing like I usually would be... Then of course old habits die hard! (eventually they crash and burn! if you're lucky! Ha Ha!) I turned the knob to hot...looking for that cheap thrill...Well, who knew?... the thrill is gone! I immediately began to feel sedated and lethargic and generally wiped! So I got out and...I had aquired an itchy heat rash on my back as well! (I have a tendency towards heat rash and inflammation). So score one for cold showers! Sat Sangeet PS. wetting from the feet up as someone suggested earlier does seem to be a much gentler way to approach the cold water. (I've been doing it that way for the last week).
