Sat Nam Anne Marie,

SNR is short for Sat Nam Rasayan. It's a type of meditative

healing. Sometimes the healer touches the body, but it's not

neccesary, the client usually lies down and the healer begins to

relate to their senses (you can take a course if you want all the

details or read a book on it) and it's through this process that

sacred space is evoked. In sacred space the healer's intention

becomes dynamic. By holding this space and using intention healing

is affected.

Yoga and meditation alone can not always get at all the "tension"

inside of us. This healing works very nicely in conjunction with

yoga, KY especially. But it is for anyone who wants to experience

forward movement in their life. There are no restrictions to what

it can heal.

Basically, whatever can be healed in that moment, will be. In

every moment we each have a different capacity to be healed and

from the healer's standpoint, the amount of healing that can occur

is somewhat reliant on their ability to hold the healing space

evoked, stable enough to allow the healing to occur.

It can work at the level of consciousness, healing limiting thought

patterns in your subconscious, that create your experience. This is

basically pulling the root out, working at the level of cause. The

effects can be profound, working from the inside out. Or some

healers work more with manifestation. So you go in with a headache,

leave with it gone, but you may not have touched the consciousness

causing the headache yet. So in this way you work from the outside

in. If you are working outside in you need to keep up with the

healing until you get at the root, otherwise it will remanifest in

your life.

Places to look for a SNR healer?

*Start at your local KY center they often hold workshops in it.

*Ask your KY instructor they'd probably be familiar with who in your

area practices it.

*If you don't have any of the above try contacting Kirpal Kaur

gds for a listing of Canadian teachers

*or there's a website for SNR www.gurudevsnr.com

What part of Canada are you in? I'm in Canada.

Blessings,

Sat Sangeet
