Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that. When you mentioned that that you give thanks

in the morning, I remembered what Yogiji had said about the fear

of death and how to get over it.

On the other, fear of death is the same as the fear of life. We often judge

because ourselves and others out of some fear. We try to maintain

some illusion of control with our men-tal intrusiveness. Your own being is

leading you to "train" your "mind to go through gratitude". And you are

finding this helpful. This is beautiful and I would continue to do so. You want

to know a little secret? I'd say that is the norm to be judgmental

in the morning....to kick one's self out of the bed in the morning instead

laying there and tuning in to the breath. I personally am real easy on

myself. I breathe and chant my way through that time. Wahe Guru or Ra Ma Da Sa!

All through the night our subconscious mind is sorting through stuff but

there is a lot of room for volition and consciously aligning ourself.

I remember Gurucharan saying when we dream we are moving the garbage from one

place in the house to another place in the house. When we meditate

we are taking the garbage out.
