Guest guest
Sat Nam ya'll, So, I've decided that I want to REALLY investigate the interaction of KY and HIV. As far as I know I'm the only HIV+ person on this list at the moment, but with the funding cuts that are happening, a lot of people are going to be looking for other ways to address their diseases. This of course involves not only HIV but probably any disease process. The reason I decided to do this is that KY has been so very instrumental in building myself back up after a major health crisis last year. I'm living proof that it works! So what I'm asking is this, how have ya'll handled your diseases, especially as relates to KY? Did you have a plan? What have you found most helpful? Where, in retrospect, did you push yourself too far too fast? Where did you not push yourself hard enough? How much did you experience relief from your symptomology? How much relief from fretting about your health? Which sets and meditations had the greatest impact for you and why? Not asking much am I? Please feel free to reply to me OFF-LIST. I wrote Dr. Shanti Shanti Kaur Kalsa a few months ago and have yet to receive a reply. I heard she had done some work in this area, but I'm certain she's an extremely busy individual. If anyone is interested in sharing ideas about this, give me a shout off list and I'll send you what I've been thinking about this so far. I'm living> proof that it works! This is fabulous. We can always help get this information out there once you have some things pulled together. One of the main things that Shanti Shanti says is that the process is slower and not so physically demandings for people who are sick. No 31 minutes of Sat Kryia to start out with. I think I you pull together what you have done, with simple exercises that people with weakened bodies can do, that will be an incredible service. Plus you just need to present a program that people can follow. No huge manual needed. Just get people started. Write it up brother and we are on to helping many people. Of course anyone who wants to share with Leo what works for them would add wonderfully to the project. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Leo- I think this is a WONDERFUL idea!! I wish that I could contribute something worthwhile to the effort. But I'm out of my league in this one. Please keep us posted of how you progress on this. I think taking on this project may also help you in a lot of ways as well. Good luck, and my thoughts/prayers are with you! Christa
Guest guest
Sat Nam Leo, I "live" around many beautiful people who work extensively with yoga and HIV / Aids. I will ask one of them to contact you Humbly, Bhagavati Leo Miller <gr82bme wrote:Sat Nam ya'll, So, I've decided that I want to REALLY investigate the interaction of KY and HIV. Guest guest
Sat Nam Leo, I am not HIV positive but I have been successful treating other things such as memory loss, and a neurological disorder. I do know of a few people who said they were HIV positive and did the following: They stayed away from prescription antibiotics and took herbal antibiotics--not Echinacea, by the way. There is an herbal blend called Enhance made by Health Concerns. Enhance is suppose to cleanse the body and build the immune system and overall good health. They are located in Oakland, California. Their phone number is 800-233-9355. Their fax #: 510-639-9140. There is a Chinese herb called Ching Fei Yi Huo Pie which is use to treat excess phlegm, boils in the mouth and nasal passage, sore throat, dark urine, constipation and swollen gums. Also there is a homeopathic called aconite. I read that if one takes aconite 30c everyday it will prevent HIV from developing into Aids. When I use to participate in ceremonies with this metaphysical Kemetic group, they used the chant Aung Vung Dhung (pronounced Duhung) while wearing either blue or white, or both. They started at the New Moon and did it for 21 days. They would chanted the mantra into trance and use jasmine incense or oil. This was one of their major healing rituals. It is also good for memory loss or deep hurt and trauma! The mantra is suppose to be a word of power related to the Dravidian goddess Dhumavati. She was known to the Egyptians as Auset (Isis), to the Yorubas as Yemaya and the Catholic church--Mary. This ritual is even more effective near the ocean or in a bathtub full of water. Some people have found traditional African shamanistic priest to be highly effective in getting rid of the illness. I can possibly refer you to someone if u are interested. You can email me personally or give me ur email address. Also if u want the healing chant on tape, I have it. I would be more than happy to send it to u. I hope u find this info of some help. And remember, take multivitamins without iron everyday. Get ur iron naturally from beans, etc. Toyb - Leo Miller Kundalini Yoga Tuesday, January 14, 2003 3:03 PM My Project

Guest guest
Sat Nam, It is great Leo is receiving so much help on this project. But folks these messages and thanks must be sent OFF LIST. Use discrimination. Obviously some of the results directly related to the practice of KY can be part of the discussion. Thanks for being and acting consciously!
