Guest guest
Sat Nam ya'll, Cool topic, thanks Sat Sangeet! I have yet another perspective since I'm gay. When I came out, there was an immense amount of pressure to choose a sensibility, Butch or Fem. The effeminate guys were looked down upon in some ways as being some how weaker and less manly. The butch boys went all out to be uber-butch! Personally, I refuse to choose - too limiting. And while I'm very open and expressive here in my little gay ghetto, when I go outside the 'hood I try to project very masculine energy because this is the Deep South where it's easy for a gay-boy to get his ass kicked. It's a defensive posture. Whatever my "nature as a man" may be, it certainly is not about sexual relationships with women. I'm a very yang type of person in case you hadn't guessed. I will say tho that no man I've ever known was prepared for the spiritual and emotional repercussions of penetration. As some of ya'll know, that's a deeply intimate, personal experience. One which pretty much renders you incapable of depersonalizing sex the way men are taught in our culture. And while I'm fairly able to express the female energy in my life, I also hang out with women who exhibit a lot of male energies, not lesbians, just really strong women. So I guess no matter where you come down in the continuum of things, we all seek a balance of that female/male yin-yang energy.
Guest guest
Leo, I like what you have written, it denotes that you are in close relationship with live body: God who wanted to experience the Ego.
