Man?Woman..Collective Beliefs

(By the way Leo...I never would have guessed your quite yang?? with

a name like "LEO" what else could you have been?? Ha Ha!) (Fellow

Warning: I'm about to be Yang!

 

Baba...thank you for clarifying something for me...as I was driving

to teach a class this morning I was contemplating this further and I

came to the realization that part of what I struggle with is "old

school/New school" transition or patriarchy/matriarchy. I kept

having the thought...It's a man's world out there...this being a

collective beleif for women.. but really all people end up living up

to this belief and frankly, it's F***##. Women become ball breakers

trying to measure up...masculinizing themselves and men are left

with either measuring up and due to this being, a completely screwed

up ideal, they don't win in the end ( they can't relate to a feeling

to save their life and forget being able to express it or transform

it!) or they don't measure up and society measures them as

unsuccessful...so I ask WHY?? live like this... no one is

winning..not even the people who think they are!!

 

So this begs the question "what" is the new ideal???

 

You describe "man" as being steady. Okay...anything else??

Describe for me what does being steady look like in life? This one

word "steady", the only image it gives me, is a cardboard cut out of

a man. Someone describe for me what is the essence of a man!!

I ask!!

 

 

Someone will have to speak of it..before it can become a new ideal.

I know what our collective beliefs have been. I just have to watch

TV to figure that out... I'm asking where are we going?? and how

will we go there if we don't a have a vision of what's possible?

 

So I'm asking...what do we see as the possibilities???

 

I look around and I see who we are as a people now...I see the

distance we need to travel...we need dharma..desperately..but we

also need a vision!!

 

Please everyone...share your visions with me..how do we see

ourselves evolving?
