Guest guest Posted January 19, 2003 Report Share Posted January 19, 2003 Sat Nam ya'll, Just had a really cool experience. A friend was passing through town and stopped by to see me. She had her kids with her 2 of whom I hadn't met as they are right at a year old. Well, the instant one of those kids laid eyes on me, he pointed at me, his face breaking into delight and said, "It you!". So I pointed back and said, "No, it you! Hi!" The kid reach forward and touched fingertips ( an E.T. moment ) the instant we touched he burst out into gales of laughter. I've only had this kind of experience with pre-verbal or just barely verbal babies a couple of times. What a treat! They still remember so much at that age. Did Travis feel a connection? Definitely! Did I? How could I not feel so in the face of such evidence?! How happy to meet an old friend after so many years! I'll be grinning all day!
