Guest guest
I did the sodarshan chakra kriya for 11 minutes yesterday and loved it! I plan on doing this for forty days and building up to atleast 31 minutes. I have heard that day one for counting the forty days only begins when you are at the minimum length of time. Would that be at 31 minutes for this kriya? I started on the full moon, is that wrong? Blessings to all, Sangeet
Guest guest
I've been intrigued by this one as well, but have not attempted it yet. I have one small point of clarification I need. Every description I read says inhale through left nostril, hold and do the pumps and then exhale through right and to continue. So I'm assuming that you ALWAYS inhale through left and exhale through right. You NEVER switch to inhale through right and exhale through left, correct? No one ever explicitly said that, so I just wanted to make sure. Thanks! Christa

Inhale left, exhale right, no switching. When I do this one with my yoga teacher, I breathe 3 times for every one of his breath cycles...! I think he can probably swim with the fish. -Baba
