Guest guest
Why do we yawn?? or get sleepy during a meditation? As far as I know yawning is a release of tension in the diaphragm/navel center and when you do it, it affects your energy level in some way or nervous system or something like that...can't recall exactly what happens, but remember hearing something about it. Falling asleep during a meditation is often coming up to a resistance to being "conscious" during the meditation. (being conscious to what's surfacing from the subconscious). It's funny to watch in my Meditation classes or SNR classes that I take from my teacher...the moment he begins to speak, people will start yawning...falling asleep in their chairs and some people will actually lie down for a few moments! I have a friend who told me this story of going to him for some SNR healing and he was speaking to her and she was falling asleep as he was talking to her...but she said there was no way she could keep her eyes open and after he stopped speaking she was wide awake again! Often resistance shows up in the form of going unconscious or zoning out when you begin to tap into the deeper layers. Feeling tired right after the meditation is something different though...I think that's more of an integration type of thing?? Anyways...that's what I know about the subject so far! Guest guest
Sat Nam, Chatters, Guru Sadhana Kaur (Yes, I did get my Spiritual Name the same as you did, Yesterday; and coming out of the retrograde just like the Mercury:)) Dear Sat Sangeet, I learned quite a bit about yawning since doing Geotran energy work. Geotran accesses the field of energy and information through the codes of numbers that you vocalize and spiral into your body mostly using the right hand at a different locations and distance off the body. It comes with the huge manuals and Integrations, that time wise take from half an hour to 3 hours to make. Going along with my renewed spiritual discipline I was doing the integrations almost every day, so here goes about yawning: A prelude: There is a seal of breath, when you write a prayer or a promise on a paper and seal it with your breath. It's like giving to heaven the matrix of your breath of who you are. The same stands if you are growing vegetables organically, you can give the vegetables your matrix through washing your feet and watering them; the vegetables will grow that will have the exact cure for your conditions, because the plant knew about you and made the best of soil and sun for you. Generally, people yawn a lot at Geotran classes and call it "digesting". While doing my integrations I was pretty amazed at what a yawning spree they were throwing me into. I guess I was digesting a lot . Some integrations are like multilayered meditations. The more I yawned, the more it seemed I understood about it. So, these are my metaphysical musings. We have two pipes through our mouth to the core of our physical essence. A breathing pipe that ends in our lungs and borders with a diaphragm, and food and sound pipe that goes to the depth of the stomach and even guts, I'd even say it ends at the bottom of the pelvic diaphragm! (I was able to hear the sound as low as my sexual chakra, but I don't think I ever heard it in my legs! So, when we yawn, we open up our core to heaven and our environment. The head goes way up, and a beautiful triangle is opening up inside us. It's like the both pipes (the best yawns come with the sound) start their dance in unison, the pipes rejoin becoming bigger and bigger tunnel of light that may transcend into the core of our essence. If the tissues of the body have all the memories, may be there at the depth of the guts where the most of our shadows do hide. And when we yawn, we make the tunnel of pipes wider and wider with each yawn, and the transcendental light then has a chance to descend into the gore core of our essence, and bring the light to the utmost depth. At the same time our invisible light teachers get plenty chance to know about our innermost "matrixes", and send us more guidance in our dreams and meditations. Kidding aside, I do believe that when we yawn all our 7 (or 10) bodies get harmonized and realigned.
