Guest guest
Blessings to all of you! Today was my 7th day of sodarshan chakra kriya. I have noticed everyday getting hotter and hotter. This morning I practised in a very cold room and still had to remove clothing from my skin. I get covered in a lot of sweat and tremendous heat. The heat feels very healing as I relax with it. I feel the heat rising from the base of my spine and moving upwards. Sangeet
Guest guest
Dear Sangeet, For how long you've been doing this kriya? Also, I see you asked some good questions in the past, as: < How much time should one rest between different meditations? < Could anyone advise me as to the effects of starting a new yoga set on the full moon as opposed to the new moon? I do not rest between the mediations at all, like 11 minutes, another one 11 minutes then 31 minutes, and only sometimes a little rest between the next 11 minutes. But, Did you get the answers anyway? Sat Nam, Jiwan <Blessings to all of you! > Today was my 7th day of sodarshan chakra kriya. I have noticed everyday > getting hotter and hotter. Guest guest
Sat Nam Jiwan, Sangeet, Doing Sodarshan really gets you in touch with the Kundalini energy, I believe next to Sat Kriya and maybe Tershula, Sodarshan directly stimulates more prana, and more Kundalini. I spent many cold mornings doing Sodarshan with no shirt and feeling just fine. You may find that you will go through phases, heating up, cooling or leveling off, so my suggestion is if its slightly cold with no shirt go with that. If you don't start off a little cool on S, you could be frying in about an hour. Unless its really cold out I used a fan on this one. Remember to do more yoga, that extra K I raised went right to the back and top of my head and had a tendency to space me out. Try to pull the energy down to the heart center. Jiwan, there's probably cooler stuff than the snake, just stay on the mantra and the breath and don't get caught up in the 'mysticism' surrounding this meditation. Congrats to both of you, its good to see some yogins sticking with this one. Its a meditation I'm going back to when I have time! And I stress again, do more yoga than you ususally do. Guest guest
Sat nam, > < How much time should one rest between different meditations? As long as it takes for you to be consciously aware of and stabilize the state of consciousness that you have created. Could take relaxing on the floor as well as sitting in quiet meditation.
