Guest guest Posted January 26, 2003 Report Share Posted January 26, 2003 Actually...I thought you meant you decided to go for a massage in order to get intouch with your body...which isn't a half bad idea either...being a massage therapist..odd that I never thought of that yesterday! Ha ha! I also wanted to add...and now I'm thinking about Leo, during meditation!! go figure...that today as I was meditating I had this thought about an exercise you could try for releasing the energy of the lower three chakras, that wouldn't be too vigorous on the abdomin. I don't even know what it's called...perhaps someone else can comment on it...sitting in full lotus..make fists out of your hands and place them on the ground beside your hips...straighten the elbows as you lift your legs and hips up off the ground...try to keep the spine straight as you do this...it requires a contraction of the lower abdominal muscles and the hip flexors to make it happen and do BOF for up to 3 mins. I've done it...what a rush! My teacher suggested masterying it..in order to clear that energy in the lower half. In fact I'm going to begin practicing it again as well.
