Guest guest
Hi Littlest_Yogini, I doesn't surprise me in the least that you might feel sluggish. The two places in our body where we "absorb" most of our Prana are the lungs and the colon. Definitely make squatting your position during elimination. Also, look into the Arise and Shine Intestinal Cleanse (http://www.ariseandshine.com ). Truly amazing. You'll be "seeing God". This is something I do every year. Yogi Bhajan says that death begins in the colon and that the body must be alkaline. I don't know what you have done and that would be helpful for me or anyone else on the list to know. Additionally, go to http://www.ayurvedic.org/ayurveda/index.asp. Do the online consultation. Let Nature work for you through the discipline of Ayurveda or Chinese medicine. Work on these issues with a many pronged approach. You can still talk to your doctor but I think this is way bigger than most western medicine practitioners are trained to look at. They have their strengths but overall constitution is, I must say, not one of them. Health, in the West, is considered lack of sickness. You need to go way beyond that. Any yoga is good (maybe Kriya for Pelvic Balance) and lots of walking. Look for hilly places to walk. Guest guest
On page 37 of "Transitions to a Heart Centered world" is a posture that specifically works to keep the abdominal organs from dropping. I can only imagine that this would help with the pelvic region also. The set is "Strengthening the Navel Center, Elimination & Digestion, Balancing and Distributing Creative Energy". I have filled out the information for the online consultation, and will be anxiously awaiting a reply. Another great thing I found was "easy yoga for elimination" at www.goldentemple.com- I will be beginning that set first thing tomorrow morning, and will be sure to let you know how everything goes. Once again thanks, and may light and love shine upon you Sat nam, Cindi
