Sun salutation in KY??

Sat nam everybody !! I have some questions about the sun salutation and

kundalini yoga... do we use it at all?? Any kriyas with it included?? Is it

ok to start a kriya or end a kriya with it?? i love the KY sets but think

the SS is such a lovely flowing set. Please tell me everything there is to

know about this matter!!

You can find Sun Salutes in Gururattan's 'Relax and Renew' pg 20.

--this is a real good warm-up to any kriya, I'd probably do it before a

shorter kriya. But its not included within any kriyas that I'm aware

of. I've done this in other yoga classes other than KY too, and its

usually used as a warm-up.

These really get the prana flowing into different parts of the body

though, and I'm pressed for time I'll just do may 6-8 SS and then some BOF.

Sat Nam,

Simple Sun Salutations, like the traditional Sivananda style or Surya

Namaskar A, are good warmups as part of your practice before doing a kriya.

I like Sun Salutations then doing Surya Kriya -- lots of sun energy!
