Guest guest
SAT NAM EVERYONE, WOW, talk about fast responses , thank you all so very much . I will make it a point to take your advice . As for challenging myself , I do that on occasion, but I am very careful which challenges I take on . There is nothing wrong with a good challenge , some times we need to make ourselves stronger . I just hope I am not biting off more than I can chew . I just remembered there is a kriya (set) to increase your lung capacity in Kundalini Yoga: the flow of Eternal Power by Shakti Prawha Kaur Khalsa . I think it would be a good idea to start doing that one . BLESSINGS TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU . GURU SADHANA KAUR (PRACTIOUS) :)Get more from the Web. Guest guest
SAT NAM EVERYONE, I did the meditation last night and it worked . I did the 8 counts instead of the 16 . I will build up slowly to the 16 counts . I am going to start with 11 minutes and work my way up to 31 than 62 . I noticed after the meditation that my solar plexus was very active and my heart was beating like a drum .Is that normal for these two areas to be very active ? I fell comfortable with this meditation and I am going to sick with it . "Light unto thee" Sadhana KaurGet more from the Web. Guest guest
Hey, I think you're are pushing yourself. You need to balance your doshas (constitution) and get more streamlined before you do this Kriya. Then doing it properly (16 and 48) wont be the issue. Shorten the times but don't change the Kriya. Like a farmer prepares the earth by tilling the soil to making it soft before he plants, you, too, need to soften your mind/body before you plant the seed. Do the preparation and see the difference. Yoga is not another "doing", something to be gotten through. There is a 21 posture series of postures called "Preparation for Meditation" in "Transitions", just to give you idea of the place for warming up and preparation. There are also much shorter series in the same book. I ask myself this question "Do I do yoga to feel Worthy, or do I do Yoga because I am Worthy" Sat Nam, Dharam Suzanne Nocella wrote: > SAT NAM EVERYONE, > > I did the meditation last night and it worked .
