Guest guest
Sat Nam Ann Marie, "I would like to become a certified Kundalini teacher as it just seems that Im beeing pulled in that direction by my mind and body and being on this site totally intrigues me. I live in Ontario Canada and dont know of anyone that can teach me formally." --Then you probably will become certified! Isn't there a city close to Ontario, have you check here? http://www.kundaliniyoga.com/ "There seems to be an awesome responsibility that comes with this type of Yoga." --awesome in that in that there's alot of hype to overcome concerning teaching this yoga, along with learning the breathing, mudras, bhandas, and kriyas. And to teach KY means to teach it the way its given to you. We have kriyas, not just asanas, we have to be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the science given to us, that's all. Thats why kriyas stay intact, its really not 'ours' as a teacher we are only a conduit. I'd add, that tuning in to the 'Golden Link' with the Adi Mantra is like asking for guindance from the Divine. Teaching incorrectly here would be dishonorable I feel. "Am I able to teach Kundalini under this certificate as long as I stick to the guidelines as shown in the books Ive purchased from this site and do not mix them with any other types of Yoga?" --Go for it kiddo. You don't need to be certified to teach. If you know some warmups, kriyas, and meditations, go with it. Blessings Deva
