Guest guest Posted February 1, 2003 Report Share Posted February 1, 2003 I thought that those doing the Divine Mother Meditation might like to know that today - Ist February- is the Feast of the Divine Mother in her Celtic aspect - Brighid. It is both the pagan feast of Imbolc, and the christian saints day. She was a triple goodess in the old celtic world who turned into a saint of the same name under christianity. I grew up near one of her holy wells, went to a school dedicated to her and lived near Kildare in Ireland, which was the centre of her worship.
