Guest guest
Hey Ernie, You only need rocks, not woods. Regarding visualizations, I don't necessary resonate in that way. I am simply trying to tune into what my body might be trying to say to me about my dragging us off off the sofa (metaphor for comfort) putting on the boots and daring to believe that maybe my body hasn't aged like those of the other "40 somethings". I'm a kinesthetic. Some people do journals and that is a process of self discovery for them. When I run, sometimes everything is smooth but when it isn't I want to do some inquiry and the throwing of a few rocks will get me in touch with blocked anger, if that is what is going on for me. Meditation begins with where you are, by acknowledging that deeply. I like Gayatri said in her email to Leo last week. In it she said "JUST FEEL WHAT'S GOING ON WITHIN YOUR BODY, AND ACCEPT THE WAY IT FEELS AT THIS MOMENT." (see heading " Yoga as Medicine (Befriending Your Body)", 1/26) That's it, Sat nam, Dharam attached is the Kriya for Inner Anger Ernie wrote: > Hi Dharam, > Thanks for your reply. > My full birth day is May 9, 1980. > I'm giong to try your experiment. There aren't any nearby woods (there's only desert), but I go mountain-trail running several times a week... I'll try it on the mountain. Do you do any visualization while you throw the stones? > Where can I find the Kriya for Inner Anger? > Sat Nam, > Ernie
