To begin with, Nausea has gotten a bad rap. Often when our liver is detoxing we

feel nauseous. Also, when we are reintegrating Body and Mind, Head and Heart it

is quite possible to have some slight dizziness or nauseous feelings. Just flow

and breath with/through it. And you want to take it REAL EASY since you are

re-integrating. Listen to yourself!

Also, make sure to drink lots of filtered water in the morning and throughout

the day.

Regarding your routine

1- Do something that makes you sweat or some routine that is working the

mid-section. What books do you have? Surya Kriya may be too "hot" at this time

for your system.

2 - Do the Saro Nari Sohi Pranayam after a yoga routine or by itself and you

might want to avoid using music with it. Go into the zone with only your self

resonating. It may be too much fire, otherwise. Make sure your eyes are relaxed

and focused. Build slowly, starting with 3 minutes for a few day then slowly add

to your time. There will be a reaction, otherwise.

3 - You can do Saro Nari Sohi Pranayam first and then Ganputi, that's okay but I

think you want to do something that gets your body, blood and breath moving

first, then layout to integrate and then do one of these two Kriyas.

kriya that you suggested and do it only for 3 min as pranayam. But..my system

was probably so thirsty for the sitali that I did 11 min without even noticing!

I combined it with the cd Power Mantras and it was great, I felt this really

comforting feeling afterwards. Then I made the mistake of starting the surya

kriya but by the second exercise I felt nausia so I stoped and only did my

meditation afterwards. So maybe for a while I will just do a combination of the

sitali kriya and the gan puttee kriya. I also did 26 sitali breaths before my

morning tea and it really pulled all my energy up in the head...The "arise and

shine" looks interesting and a bit confusing ...

Hi Dharam,

>What books do you have?

I have the Teachers' Training Manual, Gururattan's "Transitions to a

Heartcentered World", "Self Knowledge", Inner Workout, Kundalini meditation

manual for intermediate students, expanding intuition and Guru Dharam's book "the

essence of kundalini yoga". I am changing the surya kriya for a while...not very

good for me right now.

Check out p. 36 of "Transitions to a Heartcentered World"... It's got all the

goodies.
